The Belgian based real estate developer ILD recently delivered a new industrial facility in Kutná Hora, Czech Republic. The customer is FOXCONN Technology CZ, a subsidiary of FOXCONN Technology Group, a Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturing company.
The building features 26.200 m², including 25.400 m² of warehouse and technical rooms and 800 m² of offices and staff facilities. Around the building, technical infrastructure was developed, including roads, car parks and service yards. The warehouse is equipped with VNA-racking (very narrow aisle) operated with turret trucks. LED-lighting is used as well inside as outside the facility. This warehouse will be operated by GLS for Foxconn. The construction works commenced in September 2013. This development was initiated by JLL.
